Job Opening: Executive Director of Seneca Habitat for Humanity

We are looking for qualified candidates to immediately fill the full time position of Executive Director of Seneca County Habitat for Humanity in Tiffin, OH.

Qualifications include good office management and executive skills to run a non-profit agency whose goal is to build homes for low income family partners. Experience in grant writing and fund raising is very desirable for this position. Must have strong computer skills in word processing, spread sheet and desk top publishing. House construction knowledge is a plus. Prefer college degreed candidates.

Applicants are evaluated by a committee of volunteers who look at each candidate's need for housing, income and debt levels, family situation, and willingness to build the home if approved ("sweat equity").

Homes by Seneca Habitat for HumanityCompleted homes are energy-efficient, completely electric, 3-4 bedrooms in size, come with new appliances, and feature zero-interest mortgages. The goal of the home--to provide a safe, decent, and affordable living environment at a lower cost of living.
