Carol Dell Hired As New Executive Director

Executive Director Carol DellCarol Dell started as the Executive Director on Oct 4, 2016.

Carol grew up in Seneca County and attended Calvert HS and Terra Community College. She is married to Mike Dell and is celebrating 30 years of marriage in October. She has two grown sons who live in Akron.

"I have been truly blessed throughout my life," said Carol. "Challenges are a blessing also."
She is looking forward to helping the community continue Seneca Habitat for Humanity mission that is also celebrating 30 years this year. She looks forward to helping Partner Families, working with new applicants to provide decent, affordable housing for families. She admits that she has a lot to learn but is up for the challenge.

Seneca Habitat for Humanity Accepting Applications for Homes!

Seneca Habitat for Humanity is accepting applications for homes from all interested families. Applicants are evaluated by a committee of volunteers who look at each candidate's need for housing, income and debt levels, family situation, and willingness to build the home if approved ("sweat equity").

Homes by Seneca Habitat for HumanityCompleted homes are energy-efficient, completely electric, 3-4 bedrooms in size, come with new appliances, and feature zero-interest mortgages. The goal of the home--to provide a safe, decent, and affordable living environment at a lower cost of living.
